🌡️Thermal Spring Safety143°F water
🔥 The thermal spring water emerges at roughly 143°F — hot enough to cause serious burns. Never touch water directly at a spring outlet or fountain tap area longer than a quick sip/rinse. Soaking in the hot spring water itself is only offered as a service inside two operating bathhouses, Buckstaff and Quapaw — both are private concessioner businesses, not free NPS facilities. Arkansas summers are hot and humid; carry water on the mountain trails. NPS safety info ↗
🎫Park Entry & FeesNo entrance fee
🚶 Hot Springs is an open, unfenced urban park — Bathhouse Row and the surrounding mountains are free to walk through any time, with no entrance station or pass required. The Fordyce Bathhouse Visitor Center offers free ranger-led tours. Actual hot-spring bathing/spa treatments at Buckstaff and Quapaw bathhouses are paid concessioner services, priced separately by each business. NPS fees info ↗
