Olympic has no official Dark Sky Park certification, but offers excellent unofficial dark-sky conditions (Bortle Class ~2 in places) thanks to its remoteness. Free public astronomy programs run seasonally at Hurricane Ridge. Best on new-moon nights — bring a red flashlight to preserve night vision and dress warm, coastal and mountain nights get cold fast.
